Dorn Beattie is one of the pioneers of the Canadian music industry and one of the few Canadian artists to be signed by major US Labels, Warner/Electra and Polygram.

​As lead singer and composer in 70's Rock Bands Painter and Hammersmith, Dorn has written and co-written several hit records including West Coast Woman, the fastest rising single in WB history (at that time) reaching the high 20's on Billboards World Charts.
Dorn toured North America as a major Headliner as well as tours with heavyweights Rod Stewart, Jethro Tull, Kiss to name a very few.
